One more year we have been at Host Milan, one of the most important events in the hospitality sector. From October 20th to 24th, we were at the 40th edition of this fair, which has been confirmed as the absolute leader in the HORECO sector, catering services, retail, LOD (Large organized distribution) and hospitality.
In this edition we have had a stand of 130m2 to approach and share with both our customers and visitors the innovations incorporated during this year within the company. Host Milan has been the perfect setting to show and allow to experience the technologies, quality and innovation that we have been developing in Repagas for the last year.
We want to tell you all about the equipment innovations we presented, and the new tools that facilitate the start-up of new businesses in the sector. Pay attention!
ShowCookings by Repagas Corporate Chef, Pablo Martínez:
In these demonstrations our customers and visitors had the opportunity to know the utilities of the Combined Oven HE-1011/2. Pablo has developed recipes such as Egg at low temperature with vacuum packed peas and ham ground, with which he made known the possibilities offered by this type of Cuisine.
News in hospitality equipment:
We have presented our latest developments in cooking machinery with a line focused on both the Italian market, where Trattoria has a strong presence, and kitchens with limited space, where space productivity is essential. For the latter, the SmartLine 550 Series is the ideal offer, with blocks combined and adapted to each restaurant gastronomy offer.
Other series presented that caused a lot of expectation, were the kitchens adapted in colors and customized finishes that, both for European markets and other international markets, are a clear competitive difference.
Virtual Experience:
We have created a virtual reality space that attracted a high audience, with 2 virtual experiences in 3D. In the first experience, our visitors could see and approach the New Kitchen of the BOHIO Restaurant; a guided experience led by Pepe Rodríguez, Michelin star winner and culinary award, close collaborator and image of Repagas. His new kitchen has just been reopened in Illescas, Toledo in October, and is a result of the comprehensive reform project carried out by our new service Repagas CONCEPT.
The second virtual experience was a resounding success, in it our visitors could use, interact and play with the elements integrated into Pepe’s kitchen through 3D glasses.
Virtual Planner® Kitchen Edition the new Repagas Kitchen Designer:
This new tool allows you to create the perfect kitchen with only a plane. The application allows you to import it and work on it to design your kitchen, adding all the machinery that Repagas offers, endless possibilities that allow you to make the best decision.
If no plan is available, visitors could make an approximate drawing of the space, add doors and windows, modify the colors and materials in a simple and intuitive way, allowing a virtual tour in 3D as a result.
During the Fair, visitors were able to save and send the designed request of the offer along with the desired configuration and details. According to FELAC, the Spanish Federation of Machinery Manufacturers Associations for Hospitality, Collective and Related Industries, our Virtual Planner is one of the 10 most interesting made in Spain novelties of the fair. All the experiences and novelties presented at HOST MILAN 2017 are aligned with the new transformation line that we are carrying out at Repagas, a commitment to continuous innovation and constant improvement of the products and services we manufacture and commercialize.
