Between 18 and 20 September, Repagas was an exhibitor in GulfHost, held in Dubai (stand S-B10). Our previous experience in the same expo in 2014 decided us to come back in 2017, bringing our latest solutions to the UAE.
To Repagas, GulfHost is a not-to-be-missed event, as it offers the chance to become a household name in one of the fastest growing markets in the world: the Middle East.
GulfHost 2017
This year, GulfHost was hosted as part of the Dubai International Hospitality Week in the Dubai World Trade Centre, comprising five hospitality and food service exhibitions under a single roof.
This year, the event had over 2000 exhibitors from around the world. In 2016, it had welcomed more than 50,000 visitors from 150 countries, so the expectations for 2017 were really high. Under the brand Horeca Equipment from Spain, we went to Dubai alongside 20 Spanish companies in the hospitality industry to show our featured products.
In Dubai, we showcased our latest solutions, delivering high performance, reliability, quality and design. We focused on comparatively small kitchens that required a most efficient use of space. The ideal equipment for this is the SmartLine 550 Series, with blocks arranged and adapted to the different types of food prepared in a restaurant. Another range in our catalogue that drew the attention of visitors was that of customised kitchens, with finishes and colours specially designed for each individual facility – one of our competitive advantages in international markets.
2017 has been a year of transformation for Repagas, embracing innovation and focusing on continuous improvement in the development and marketing of our products and services.
The Middle East is a key market in our internationalisation process. The hospitality industry is growing fast in the region, driven by rising demand. Repagas has served the Middle East market installing equipment in the Sharjah International Airport Hotel or the Lavanda Bakery Cafe in Abu Dhabi. Read more about our international projects here.
